By now we are aware that virtual and augmented reality technology is about to profoundly affect our day-to-day lives, but how will these technologies affect business? On Thursday this week at the Croke Park Conference Centre in Dublin conference goers will have the opportunity to hear from experts how these technologies can enhance customer satisfaction via immersive experiences. The business aspects of AR and VR in industrial/engineering, marketing communications, tourism, events, construction, real estate and gaming will be explored.
From Tuesday to Friday Stuttgart will play host to the 2016 FMX Conference on animation, Effects, Games and Transmedia. With “Blending Realities” as this year’s FMX theme, conference goers will discuss and exchange information on realtime storytelling, VR business models, VR for production, virtual cinematography for VR, lighting & rendering for VR and more.
This week 3,000 thought leaders, 60,000 conference attendees and 500,000 participants from more than 60 countries will meet at various venues in Beijing for the world’s largest mobile internet conference. On the agenda is the future as represented by AR and VR, robotics, big data, smart devices, mobile learning and much, much more. GMIC takes place in cities across the world and the Beijing event takes place this week over five days from Thursday 28 April to next Monday, 2 May.
