In the upcoming weeks virtual reality is making its presence and influence felt across the globe, from Canada and the US all the way to China where industry stakeholders will gather to share experience, information, and research results regarding VR.
From 20 to 22 May, Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province in China, will host the 2nd International Conference on Virtual Reality. The conference is a platform for researchers, engineers, academics and industry professionals from all over the world to present their research results, exchange new ideas, establish relationships, and find global partners for future collaboration.
Display Week, an important annual event for the electronic information display industry, will this year have sessions on augmented and virtual reality attended by scientists, engineers, business professionals, market analysts, and industry leaders to share cutting edge developments in AR and VR. Display Week 2016 takes place from 22 to 27 May at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco.
At the same time, Québec City in Canada will host experts, innovators and other key players in 360 photography and VR video who will be presenting, demonstrating, and discussing the present and future of these industries. The Québec 2016 — IVRPA 360° Virtual Reality Panoramic Photography & Video Conference takes place from 23 to 27 May.
Last but not least, don’t forget the next Virtual Reality Hackathon! This community driven event focused on bringing together the brightest minds interested in virtual reality to develop innovative hardware and software solutions, takes place throughout the year around the globe. The next event is in Utrecht, Netherlands, from 26 to 28 May.
