June kicks off with one of the largest events dedicated to VR, AR and wearable technologies. Augmented World Expo (AWE) will host 4,000 attendees from all over the world and more than 200 speakers and exhibitions. If you want to know how far VR and AR have come and where these technologies are heading, this is a must-attend event for you. The place to be on 1 and 2 June is the Santa Clara Convention Center in California.
On the other side of the world the Inaugural Global VR/AR China Summit will draw its own crowds on 8 and 9 June. More than 150 companies across the industry value chain and over a hundred new product releases are expected at the event, which includes exhibitions of global VR/AR technologies and products as well as a startup demo show. The event is seen as the ideal platform to gain entrance to the global AR/VR market, and takes place in Shanghai at the Shanghai Grand Theatre.
In the same week, from 8 to 10 June, Cross Video Days, the leading European market for digital first content, is taking place in Paris. Keynote speakers will cover topics like digital TV, interactive storytelling, virtual reality and transmedia.
