Austria & India hold IoT events in August

Summer in the northern hemisphere, when most people taking a much-needed break, is on the whole a quiet time for large tech events, but it’s not completely absent. FiCloud 2016, the IEEE 4th International Conference on the Future Internet of Things and Cloud is taking place in Vienna, Austria, over three days starting on 22 August. The theme of this conference is to promote the latest scientific and practical research of the IoT and cloud computing. It provides a forum for researchers and practitioners from academia, industry, and public sector to present and share their research and development ideas in the area of IoT and cloud computing.

In keeping with its growing reputation as major player in the tech ecosystem, India is hosting two major IoT events in August. The Internet of Things India Summit 2016, taking place in Mumbai on 24 August, will focus on merging IoT and M2M trends.

The Global IoT Conclave, scheduled to take place on 26 August in Bangalore is promising to be an intense summit filled with analyst insights and case study presentations aimed at showing how India is becoming a leading IoT-focused market.
