The continuing deployment of IoT technology is changing the way we live and work while the number of smart and connected devices continues to surge. With billions of connect devices predicted by 2020, a number of trade shows are taking place globally to explore the latest innovations, products and issues like cost, security and interoperability.
September will see a number of these events either focused on IoT or featuring IoT as part of a larger technology show. São Paulo, Brazil hosts IoT Latin America on 1-2 September and the IoT Show Asia takes place in Singapore on the same two days. The event will be the first of its kind in São Paulo. The event in Singapore will showcase innovation from large companies and startups. Sixteen startups will showcase their products or services at the event.
The IFA Consumer Electronics Unlimited 2016 from 2 – 7 September in Berlin is Europe’s version of CES in Las Vegas. IoT and smart devices will be a key focus of the various Smart World sessions during the summit week.
The 4th Annual Australian Smart Lighting Summit 2016, focused on the IoT and public lighting takes place in Melbourne, Australia on 6-7 September. The IoT India Congress on 6-8 September in Bengaluru will bring IoT practitioners and IoT enablers together to create a platform that is efficient and robust.
At the China Internet of Things Summit 2016 in Shanghai on 8-9 September speakers from the industry ecosystem will discuss IoT technology and explore the best user practice in different verticals. Attendees will explore the latest development in IoT and learn how to bring the concept to reality.
Internet of Things Summit in Boston on 8-9 September has an industry-led speaker line-up list of more than 25 experts working on innovative initiatives in the IoT space. Bengaluru, India will host the Industrial IoT Congress on 8-9 September, which will address the application of IoT in an industrial setting.
