For companies who are ready to make IoT central to their operation strategy, Industry of Things World held in Berlin on 19 and 20 September is the place to gain access to all the latest information they’ll need. The event, which has been awarded Best Overseas Conference, brings together more than 1000 high-level executives in the Industrial Internet of Things field. With 75 sessions and 1855 meetings, those attending will come away with the necessary info to include IoT in their business strategy.
Industry leaders will also head to London for the Smart Summit London on 21 and 22 September. The 2-day conference will run three tracks: Smart Home, Smart Cities and the Industrial Internet of Things. With more than 20 sessions each, the tracks are comprehensive knowledge exchange opportunities that will help companies move forward with adapting their business strategies to make the best of the opportunities that IoT offers.
Also in London and on the same two days, the Internet of Healthcare conference will take place. The event will analyse the transformative opportunities of IoT to tackle the big healthcare challenges. Healthcare leaders will learn from early adopter case studies how to get to grips with the implications of IoT. One such case is Odense University Hospital Denmark which is building ‘super hospitals’ that reduce the number of beds needed with the support of IoT.
These are by far not the only IoT events for the rest of September. The latter part of the month has a host of other events all working towards realising the potential of IoT. More about those next week.
