This September, the promise of IoT is bringing thousands of people together at international events to find out how best to leverage the technology to do better business, provide better services, and solve some of the world’s biggest problems. Highlights include:

As consumer adoption of connected devices accelerates, retail leadership must develop an IoT strategy. The Rethink! Internet of Retail Minds taking place in London on 26 and 27 September will act as an international knowledge exchange platform to discuss the future of IoT in retail and help retailers get to grips with both the promises and challenges of IoT.

IoT-empowered products, services and solutions will be featured at the Bosch Connected World Chicago, IoT613 in Ottawa, and ExpoInternet Latinoámerica in Buenos Aires, Argentina. All these events give attendees the opportunity to hear informative keynotes by experts and leaders in the adoption of IoT.

Smart Cities Week, which takes place in Washington DC at the end of September, will focus on IoT solutions to the many challenges cities face in creating compassionate, connected and sustainable urban environments. The IoT Conference in Moscow on 29 September will centre on IoT applications in smart homes, smart cities, smart things, healthcare, security, transportation, cloud services, monetization, and wearable technology.
