The inaugural Virtual Reality Developer’s Conference (VRDC) was held as part of the Game Developer’s Conference (GDC) in March this year. It was such a success that its second edition in November will be an independent event.
VRDC in November brings together innovators in the creation of amazing immersive VR (and AR) experiences who will be sharing best practices and introducing new technology. The event combines expertise gained from game, entertainment, and tech fields to reveal what it takes to produce content for virtual and augmented reality. Attending developers, designers, programmers, business professionals, producers, artists, and audio creators will learn from each other’s expertise how to build immersive experiences for games, entertainment, retail, industrial design, training and live events.
The four tracks that will be covered are Games & Entertainment, Brand Experience, Innovation and Partners. The Games and Entertainment track will offer programmers, designers, producers, artists, and professionals in business development insights from ground-breaking work in game and entertainment VR/AR and also teach new skills so they can improve their own expertise. In the Brand Experience Track, teams of creative developers and commercial experts will show how their brands are applying VR/AR tech to develop unique and exciting brand experiences. In the Innovation Track, experts in VR/AR development will share their knowledge in in-depth lectures and panels. The Partners Track enables companies to communicate the value of their tool, service or platform and educate developers on how to use the technology.
The event is an invaluable opportunity to network with VCs and the press. VRDC 2016 will take place on 2 and 3 November at the Park Central Hotel in San Francisco. For more information on VRDC 2016, visit http://vrdconf.com/
