Taking place until this Friday, CEATEC JAPAN in Tokyo is the largest consumer electronics and IT exhibition in Japan. At this year’s event, virtual reality and its effect on industries and the lives of consumers will be a highlight on the agenda, showing how virtual reality is revolutionizing industries and making consumers’ lives easier around the globe.

At WEIRD REALITY in Pittsburgh from 6 to 9 October promises to be a truly alternative experience featuring independent and emerging voices, creative approaches and diverse perspectives, and imaginative and critical positions on VR/AR/MR. WEIRD REALITY will form part of the series of events taking place on the campus and vicinity of Carnegie Mellon University.

At the same time New York is hosting The Future of Storytelling Festival. Called FoST FEST, the event is a festival of technology demos, interactive installations, and a multi-person VR theater, immersive performances, live-action role-playing games, flash mobs, and a lot more. Sounds like an event not to miss.

On a slightly different note, we have Immerse Summit in Seattle on 11 October that will explore how VR/AR will transform various industries. The event features keynotes, exhibitions, startups and more.
